Basic Polymers and some of their uses

Natural Rubber - A General purpose polymer intended for aqueous solutions.
Butyl - Intended for liquid, lyophilized or dry products.
Neoprene - Used for vegetable oil, mineral oil or glycol based products.
Silicone - Resists high heat or multiple steam sterilizations.
EPDMUsed with high pH aqueous solutions and when environmental degradation is a concern. Other base polymers are available. Stoppers are siliconized to increase assembly speed. Florine, PE or PP lamination is also available on select AMI stoppers.

Allison Medical provides a wide range of stoppers and formulations. The stoppers are manufactured to meet the stringent world-wide pharmacopoeia standards. Closures consist of a variety of sizes and configurations to meet each customers particular needs.

Serum stoppers, rubber products and closures for use in Pharmaceutical, Veterinary, Biologicals, Ophthalmic, Diagnostic, Dental and Medical Device markets among others.

The standard stoppers are available in 11mm, 13mm, 20mm and 30mm sizes and a variety of configurations. The standard configurations include Anti-Pop, straight, 2-Leg Lyophilization and 3-Leg Lyophilization stoppers.

The standard closure sizes available are the 11mm, 13mm, 20mm and 30mm with an open top. Tear off, tab top and flip off closures are also available.

For use with injection and infusion bottles, contact lens bottles, dental cartridges, x-ray solutions, oral liquids, and veterinary products. Designed for high speed automation as well as low volume usage.
